Some brilliant Top of The Pops footage of Melba Moore from 1981. This went to the top 5 in the UK, and was her first major hit since ‘This is it’ in 1976, although an excellent cover of a Bee Gees song, ‘You stepped into my life,’ was moderately successful in 1979. A great track, but clearly much of the credit must go to the bow tie and frilly shirt ensemble worn here, that could only ever have come from the beginning of the 1980s.
