This always always goes down a bomb at any of our party nights – an infectious ear-worm of a tune that’s guaranteed to get them dancing. Written by brothers George & Louis with Rod Temperton, and produced by legend Quincy Jones, Stomp! was released in 1980 and featured a who’s who of the world’s leading session musicians. Louis Johnson himself was a frequent collaborator with Jones, and appeared on many of his productions for other artists, probably most notably playing the iconic bassline for Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean.
