We had a great time the other weekend at Wimbledon’s All England Club. We were playing the Disco Legends night for the charity Tennis First – which was basically us, three hours of fantastic 70s disco classics and about 250 guests who never left the dancefloor all night. Many of them made a real effort with the outfits and respect indeed goes to those who referenced disco’s early days in New York’s gay clubs. From the opening number, Chic’s classic Le Freak, the floor was packed. It was a great crowd that made it all the more fun for us, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.
